3 question about diet sustainability 1

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose one of the following diets (Mediterranean diet, vegetarian, veganism, Keto diet, Okinawa diet) and research it in regards to general premise/ nutrient intake pattern, health outcomes and environmental sustainability. For each question you must triangulate data sources – that means to validate the data through the cross verification of multiple sources, therefore, a minimum of three sources for EACH question (or part of the question) is required.

Use ONLY current (2010+) scholarly peer-reviewed articles to answer the following

Q1. Explain the general premise of the diet and its nutrient intake pattern

Q2. Explain the main documented (i.e. based in scientific testing and found in peer-reviewed scholarly sources) health outcomes of the diet. You must include one positive and one negative documented health outcome. Be sure to triangulate your sources.

Q3. Sustainable diets are those with low environmental impacts (e.g. low carbon emissions, low ecological and water footprint etc.) that contribute to food and nutrition security and to a healthy life for present and future generations. Explain the sustainability of the diet in question.
