building a claim

I’d like you to select one of your answers in that reflection and revise it into a single sentence claim. It should meet all three expectations of a claim and to make sure it does, after you’ve written the claim, answer the following questions about it.

• • Does this claim take a position? How?
  • Can this claim be argued and supported with evidence? How?
  • In what ways is this claim specific?
