Graphical Information

Part I

This week focuses on distributions and graphical representation of data.

Write a 250- to 300-word response to the following:

·        Considering the PIE CHART as a graphical representation of data, give a brief introduction of the statistical graph and explain the types of variables or data that could be portrayed using it.

 

Part II

Frankfort-Nachmias & Leon-Guerrero (2018) state “information presented graphically may seem more accessible than the same information presented in frequency distributions or in other tabular forms” (p. 39).

Write a 250- to 300-word response to the following:

·        In your experience with reading and interpreting research studies, do you find the statement above to be true? Cite specific examples from your experience to support your stance.
