Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) support the goals of reducing healthcare costs very well. School Based Health Clinics (SBHC) are an excellent example of this as well. By focusing on the pediatric population many emergency room visits are elimated that are very costly to the care system. Additionally SBHC support families locally by coming to the community rather than families traveling extensively for care (Denny 2018).
