Ecclesiastes 3 teaches us that there’s a time for everything. The key to our success is being able to mange the given time and applying various methods into our lifestyles to reduce stress from unforeseen obstacles. Pareto’s principle is one key way to organize our daily routine to reach success.

Pareto’s principle shows us how we waste a lot of time on the unnecessary. We often spend lots of time, searching out and applying those things that will prove not useful. Pareto’s principle will be very valuable to me in organizing the many tasks I routinely deal with in the various organizations I’m involved in. Pareto designed guidelines that can be followed to make various task less time consuming. On the average, I spend much time researching on the various topics for our discussions. The majority of the team I base my responses on biblical truths or personal experiences. The research is very valuable, however, I could shorten the amount of time spent on researching and looking for specific documentation and begin my writing.

Pareto’s principle is very similar to those of Moses’ father-in-law. Exodus 18 teaches us that the people should be taught ordinances and laws by which they were to live and behave(Exodus 18:20). That’s the we Pareto’s principle was written to be. It was designed to help individuals use their timely wisely.

Pareto’s principle would allow individuals to be more productive and successful with less stress. Baldwin discusses that time management is a key factor to stress management and coping with various tasks. Applying this principle, will be very beneficial to me and my success in this class by teaching how to prioritize and focus more on what is more needed to complete my given tasks.
