biodiversity 3
1. Biodiversity
The Amazon rainforest has a tremendous biodiversity of plants, animals, fungi, etc. Scientists believe that we have barely cataloged Amazonian biodiversity, and yet, businesses are clearing the rainforest at an alarming rate for planting of crops and for other human activities. Scientists are quite worried about this. Why is it important that we know more about the organisms that inhabit the Amazon rainforest? Be specific in your approach.
